AF Holding commemorated
57th anniversary Festival
Abdulla
Fouad Holding had celebrated its 57th Anniversary on 17th
March 2006. The key agenda of the event was to honor the
employees who work hard for the organization’s development.
As such more than 200 employees were honored in the event
who had deserved their 5yrs,10yrs,15yrs, 20yrs,25yrs and
30yrs of continuous service to the company. As
an innovative move, a presentation was delivered by Mr.
Asim Baig the group business improvement consultant on highlights
of the company’s achievements during year 2005.
A
snack buffet had been arranged for all attendees, and a
lot of ruffle gifts were granted to audience at lucky draw
event that took place at the end.

Started Construction of New Corporate Head Quarters
As a milestone step-up in Abdulla Fouad Holding’s
business line, the dream project of building a Corporate
Headquarters to accumulate most of the divisions and departments
under one umbrella has been activated now. Construction
started on 01st January 2006 and its progressing day-by-day
to be completed as scheduled on 31st August .
The headquarters will be a 10 stories building located in
a prime location on Dammam-Khobar highway opposite the eastern
province chamber of commerce building, and it is designed
in a unique way to make it exceptional and it will be equipped
with the latest technologies available for office buildings.
Interior design has been already awarded to a distinguished
Italian firm (Shawaya & Marani) who started to accompany
construction at an early stage.

QAD gets new facet in Saudi
Software Market
Mantech Software division had a titanic
Trade show at Holiday Inn, Alkhobar recently. The show had
displayed a very latest QAD features in the ERP software
solution.
Offering
a brief idea to the customers on QAD enhancement and direction,
there were several seminars arranged by Mantech consultants
in the trade show. On the other hand the event got two guest
speakers from user community from Olayan group and Aujan
Industries, who had shared their Implementation and roll
out experience with the audience,
The
event was presided by Mr. Samir No’man, General Manager
of Mantech Computers Division. Mr. Wade Gomes the principal
Country Manager had delivered a presentation on “Future
Technology & QAD Direction” also Mr. Haroon Azam
Implementation Manager of Mantech had delivered two presentations
on .net (Dot net) and production Scheduler.
More
than 65 attendees were participated in the event from different
parts of the Kingdom.
“Mantech’s
business philosophy is to transfer the right information
and Technology to the customers at the right time, with
proper customer caring and high level professional handling”
said Mr. Akhtar Hasnain the business development manager
of Mantech.

NABHA received SABIC Appreciation
NABHA Rubber
Factory, a subsidiary of AF Holding has received two certificates
of appreciation for safe & timely execution of shut
down for Rubber lining job from SABIC.
This
triumph is being considered as a landmark achievement that
the company attained during year 2006.

HR Re-engineering
in progress
As
declared at the beginning of year 2006, M/S Quality Horizon,
the Group’s Human Resources Re-Engineering consultant
had arrived with the new phase of projected flow chart last
month. In consequence the representatives of Quality Horizon
had conducted comprehensive interviews with AF Administration
department staff and heads of the major divisions and executives
as well. Those interviews had facilitated the consultants
to collect the most important data to draw a tremendous
re-structuring plan for AF Human Resources. “We hope
the consultant will be submitting a constructive work frame
in the near future” said Mr. Sadiq Alelew the group
administration manager.
