This year, Abdulla Fouad Holding Co. has celebrated its 62nd Annual Ceremony. On May 20, 2011, 300 people including employees and managers, gathered at Sheraton Dammam to celebrate their hard work throughout the year. Employees were recognized and appreciated for their hard work, loyalty and dedication in their long years of service, and effort to participate in the expansion and success of this group.  Honorary to the ceremony was the presence of our Chairman Sheikh Abdulla Fouad and our president Mr. Faisal Abdulla Fouad.

The ceremony began with a warm opening by Mr. Fouad Khalid Aziz, followed by a beautiful recitation of the holy Quran by Mr. Hamad Al Bu Ali. After that, Mr. Faisal A. Fouad proceeded with the Arabic Board of Director’s speech and an English Board of Director’s speech was also given by Mr. Abdulla Al Dossary.

Over the years, Abdulla Fouad Holding Co. has seen growth and success. A video was displayed to the audience in order to show the developments and success that occurred in the past year. Following the video, Mr. Ahmad Al-Jassim recited ashort poem. After that came the main part of the ceremony, the Honoring.

As a token of appreciation, the Board of Directors presented service certificates, trophies, and service awards to the employees. Mr. Faisal Abdulla Fouad began by honouring the first, second, third, and fourth group of the awardees which included the 5, 10, 15, and 20 Years Award for the number of years completed in service respectively.

Next,Chairman Sheikh Abdulla Fouad was invited to the podium to honour the employees who have completed 25 and 30 years of service and a special award, which was granted to Mr. Faisal Abdulla Fouad for completing 10 years of service. This year, Abdulla Fouad Holding Co. had two employees receiving the 30 Years Award. Mr. Mohammad Zada Khan, in Family Compound and Mr. Mundara Vettil Ismail in Fouad Villa has shown dedication and hard work throughout their long years of service.

Third, came the “Man of the Division” awards for the year 2010 which were given out to the employees by Mr. Faisal Abdulla Fouad. Finally, the last award, the “Division of the Year 2010 Award”, was presented by Chairman Sheikh Abdulla Fouad to the Auction division.

The ceremony ended by thanking the Chairman Sheikh Abdulla Fouad, president Mr. Faisal Abdulla Fouad, the executives, and members of the organizing committee, followed by a dinner buffet.

On April, 2011 the inauguration ceremony of our Auditorium took place at Abdulla Fouad Headquarters in Dammam by our Company’s Chairman Sheikh Abdulla Fouad. The Inauguration program was attended by the top Business dignitaries of Eastern Province, Board of Directors, General Managers and division/department business heads.

All International standards were considered during the design and engineering of the Auditorium. Wooden panels with fire rated fabric on walls with sound proofing insulation can be seen. Fully equipped with Safety/Security Instruments and devices. A Sophisticated Audio and Video System has also been installed. The total area of the auditorium is 156 square meters and it can accommodate up to 110 people.
